Answer: Nicco is correct

Explanation: Carbohydrate and Lipids are both involved in the process of the storage of the energy but carbohydrate stores energy for short time and lipids store it for a long term.

Lipids do store twice as much energy as carbohydrates because the energy per gram value in case of lipids is higher than that of carbohydrates.

Thus nicco's belief is correct regarding the storage of energy which is higher in lipids than carbohydrates.
