Anna surveyed 50 students at her school and found that 0.72 of the students she surveyed said their favorite class is math. Another 12% of the students she surveyed reported that their favorite class is science. How many more students in the survey prefer math over science?

Students surveyed= 50

To get how many students prefer over science, we must get how many students prefer math and how many students prefer science , then we get the difference between them

Prefer Math = 0.72 that means 72%

Prefer Math = 0.72*50=36

Prefer Science =12%

Prefer Science = 0.12*50=6

Difference= 36-6=30
