If you do 20 + 5x = 70, that'll give you the total hours (x)

70-20 = 50,
5x = 50
Divide each by 5,
x = 10

Answer:

He takes minimum 10 hours to make a very large yard .

Explanation:

Given

Jack charges a falt fee per yard = $20

Jack charges an additional money per hour = $5

He wants to make sure that he makes at least $70 doing yard work for client by making a very large yard

Let , he takes x hour for making a very large yard

Therefore , we make an inequality

20+5x\geq 70

Subtracting 20 from both side then we get the inequality

5x\geq 50

By simplication we get

x\geq (50)/(5)

By dividing we get

x\geq 10

Hence, he takes atleast 10 hours for making a very large yard if he doing yard work and makes atleast $70 .
