A researcher is working with a group of 13 participants, 6 of whom are female and 7 of whom are male. The researcher will select one participant for the group at random, and then she will select a second participant at random from the remaining participants. What is the probability that two males will be selected?

Okay the way to do this: Find the probability of the first event and then the probability of the second event. Then, multiply the probabilities. So:

(7/13)*(6/12)

So the answer is about .27 or 27%
