QUICKLY PLEASE HELP A surveyor holds a laser range finder 3 feet above the ground and determines that the range finder is 112 feet from a building and 131 feet from the top of the building. What is the height h of the building? Round your answer to the nearest tenth.

you would do a^2 + 112^2 = 131^2

a^2 + 12,544 = 17,161
a^2 = 4617
a = 67.95 (round to 68)

then you have to add the 3 feet that you lose from holding the device in the air

the height of the building is 71 feet
