Solve the inequality 12x < 22 + x.

12x < 22 + x
Subtract 22 from both sides.
12x -22 < x
Subtract 12x from both sides.
-22<-11x
Divide by -11 from both sides (remember to flip the inequality when dividing by a negative).
2 > x is your answer.
