Your cell phone company charges $50 per month for basic service, plus an additional $0.10 per text message. Let m represent the number of text messages and C represent the total monthly bill. Then write an equation to find the total monthly bill from your cell phone company.

0.10m + 50 = C
if m represents the amount of messages sent and each message cost $ 0.10. Then you would multiply the amount of messages by $0.10 and then add the original price of $50 giving you c, the total monthly bill. Hope this helped!
