Line BC has an equation of a line y = 2x + 3, and line EF has an equation of a line y = −3x + 4. These two equations represent..?

B) perpendicular lines because the product of the slopes is −1
C) the same line
D) lines that are neither parallel nor perpendicular

Thanks!

The slopes are 2 and -3, the y-intercepts are 3 and 4.

So they are neither parallel nor perpendicular.
