Rate of change is slope so you can tell right off that the graph does not represent it because the equation has a slope of 3 and the graph moves up2 and over 1which make sure slope 2
C is also not the answer because from what it says the equation for that should be y=5x+3 not y=3x+5 because in C the set number is 3 since that's what he started off with
You will use slope formula of y2-Y1/X2-X1 to see if b or d have slopes of 3
B POINTS USE 2 (1,4) (5,16)
D points are (1,3) (2,5) (3,7)
B: 16-4/5-1 =12/4=3
C: 5-3/2-1=2/1=2
Only B has the same slope
