Rewrite it as:

You can cancel out the 9's in both fractions to make it simpler.

`(2)/(9) * (81)/(1) = (2)/(1) * (9)/(1)`

18 is the number of Labrador Retrievers.

If you don't understand the crossing out fractions, think of it this way...

`(2)/(9) * (81)/(1) = (162)/(9) = 18`

Just multiply numerators AND denominators, don't leave denominators the same (this is not adding)


Because 162 divide by 9 is 18
