hello :
7c²+8c+1 = 0
the discriminant Δ = b²-4ac a = 7 b= 8 c = 1
Δ = 8²-4(7)(1) = 64-28 = 36 = 6²
x1 = (-8-6)/14 x2 = (-8+6)/14
x1 =-1 x2 = -1/7
