Answer: Rate of change of the price of bread is 0.25 or 25%.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Initial price of bread = $1.50 per loaf

After 4 years,

Price of bread becomes = $2.50 per loaf

So, Rate of change of the price of bread is given by

\frac{New-Initial}\text{Number of years}}\\\\=(2.50-1.50)/(4)\\\\=(1)/(4)\\\\=0.25\\\\0.25* 100=25\%

Hence, Rate of change of the price of bread is 0.25 or 25%.
