The volume of a sphere is given by :-


V=(4)/(3)\pi r^3, where r is the radius of the sphere.

i.e. Radius = 4.5 inches [Radius is half of diameter and
(1)/(2)*9=4.5 ]

Then, volume of ball =
(4)/(3)(3.14) (4.5)^3=381.51\ in^3
