This is called applied chemistry. Pure chemistry is more on the theories and concepts in chemistry, while biochemistry is the study of the chemical compositions and processes in a creature. On the other hand, applied chemistry deals with the use of the theories in pure chemistry in actual experimentations and studies in order to find solutions for a problem related to chemistry.
