10/1.449 = 6.902311249
HOWEVER it is hard to buy .902311249 of a drawing pen
so
he gets 6 for $8.694
and
1.306 in change
but the cashier has trouble with that 30.6 pennies so is really nice and gives him
$1.31 in Change

1 pen = 1.49 2 pens = 2.98 3 pens = 4.47 4 pens = 5.96 5 pens = 7.45 6 pens = 8.94 and 7 pens =10.43. So because Jordan only has $10, she/he can but 6 pens and have 1.06 left. Hope this helped.:)
