Because structural functionalism is a sociological theory that attempts to explain why society functions the way it does by focusing on the relationships between the various social institutions that make up society which dropping out is not normal in society

Answer: Students who drop out of school are less able to apply their skills and knowledge to benefit society -APEX

Explanation: this is because they have a less likely chance to get a job where they could apply that knowledge instead their working fast food
