So we want to know does the structure of DNA with its length of 34 Angstroms and width of 21 Angstroms have any connection with the golden ratio. So the golden ratio is a special number that can be found when we divide a line in two parts: longer and shorter part. The ratio of longer and shorter part should be 1.61803398875, or the golden ratio. So lets divide the length of DNA with the width: 34/21=1.61904761905. We can see that the structure of DNA is pretty close to the golden ratio.
