Why do workers in developing nations continue to work in sweatshops?

Sweatshops are workshops or factories wherein the workers are paid very low wages which sometimes are not even reaching the mandated minimum wages. The workers in developing countries are still working in this type of sweatshops because of the unavailability of working places for those who have not finished studies and other underpriviledged citizens.
