1. Chad has 25 minutes to complete the 5K race. If he runs a steady rate, what is the maximum number of minutes that he can take to run each kilometer?

2. A gym charges $30 per month plus $4 extra to swim in the pool for an hour. If a member has just $50 to spend at the gym each month, what is the maximum number of hours that he can swim?

1) The Maximum amount of minutes that Chad can run for each kilometer is 5 minutes. 2) A member has spent $50 at a gym, The charge without swimming is $30 per month.  So the gym member has spent another $20 and divide by $4 and the member can swim for a total of 5 hours.
