Mean of this set is= (4+10+14+18+22+22)/6

= 90/6

= 15

  • if we add 0 in this set then

new mean=90/7=12.86

  • if we add 15 in this list then

new mean = 105/7=15

  • if we add 16 in this list

new mean=106/15=7.066

  • if we add 22 in this list

new mean=112/15=7.466

Hence, on adding 15 the mean of the data set do not change
