The triangle will be dilated by a scale factor of 1.5. (a) Calculate the length of each side of the dilated image. (b) Draw the new image and label it . Triangle sides are 12, 10, and bottom is 14.

To find the new sides take the original sides and multiply it by the scale factor

12 * 1.5 = 18
10 * 1.5 = 15
14 * 1.5 = 21

So the new sides are 18, 15, 21. And they correspond to the 12, 10, and 14 respectively
