A building 56 ft high casts a 196-ft shadow. Sarah casts a 14-ft shadow. The triangle formed by the building and its shadow is similar to the triangle formed by Sarah and her shadow. How tall is Sarah?

we have 2 similar triangles here so the corresponding sides are in the smae ratio.:-

So if h is Sally's height we have

56 / h = 196 / 14

h = (56*14) / 196 = 4 feet
