Define pronoun: grammar : a word (such as I, he, she, you, it, we, or they ) that is used instead of a noun or noun phrase.
In this case "ella" in English means She and she is a pronoun, therefore C is your answer.

C. ella. Ella in English is "she," and She is an English pronoun.
