We can divide these problem in two rectangle triangles the first one with the angle 70º and the ramin angles are 90º and 20º

The second triangle would be with angles of 80º, 90º and 10º.

then we can find the value of x with the following formula:

`10+20+x=180`

And solving for x we got:

`x=180-20-10=150º`

Problem 2

We know that the measure of an angle, let's say x is 9 degrees more than two times the suplement so we can set up the following formula:

`x=9+(180-x)`

And solving for x we got:

`2x=189`

And we got:

`x=(189)/(2)=94.5º`
