It would take 4 hours because you already know that a sprinkler waters 1/8 in 1/2 hours so it tells you that it takes 30 minutes to water 1/8 of the lawn. So you do 30 + 30 + 30 + 30 + 30 + 30 + 30 + 30 and that would be 4 hours :)
