Jeff’s car averages 18 miles per gallon of gasoline. Select the greatest number of gallons of gasoline that he will need if he travels no more than 450 miles?

Since there are 18 miles per gallon, and we have a total of 450 miles at most, we need to divide the total miles by miles per gallon. This determines the amount of gallons of gas that Jeff will need.
450/18 = 25
Jeff will need 25 gallons of gasoline.
I hope this helps!
