Gregor's life is sad. He does not have friends, he doesn't have a social life. He only keeps working with the job he does not like. But he still needs to work to pay his father's debt. Every day is like a suffering to him, he needs continue working because he loves his family and he cared for them. When he turns into a large insect, a bug, he does not like his new appearance and he suffered again but he still continues moving to survive and his inner self as a human is still there.
