What is the arrangement of the outer planets? What effect does their placement have on the planets?

Answer:

There are four inner planets which are also terrestrial planets and four Jovian planets which are also outer planets. The asteroid belt separates the inner and outer planets.

Arrangement of outer planets from closest to farthest from the Sun is:

Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

The outer planets are composed of gases and ice and do not have solid surface. They are large in size and have many moons.

The solar system's outer planets include Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Their arrangement does not have any effect on the rest of the planets in the solar system, except for the fact that these planets are not in resonance to each other.
