Solution:

Refer the attached figure

Height of ramp i.e.AB = 5 m

Length of Ramp i.e.AC = 10 m

We are supposed to find the angle of elevation i.e. ∠ACB

We will use trigonometric ratio


Sin\theta=(Perpendicular)/(Base)


Sin\theta=(AB)/(AC)


Sin\theta=(5)/(10)


Sin\theta=(1)/(2)


\theta=Sin^(-1)((1)/(2))


\theta=30^(\circ)

Hence the angle of elevation of ramp is 30°
