f(x)=x³+5x²+1 . Just plug into the function x by its given value: x=3

f(x) = (3)³+5(3)²+1 ==> 27+45+1 ==>f(x) = 73

Answer:

F(x)=73

Explanation:

Remember that to evaluate e afunction to a certain value you just need to insert value that your are given in the equation as "x":

f(x)=x^3+5x^2+1\\f(3)=(3)^3+5(3)^2+1\\f(3)=27+5(9)+1\\f(3)=27+45+1\\f(3)=73

So the answer is that the function evaluated when x=3 is 73.
