Solve the inequality


2.9(x+8)< 26.1

Divide both sides by
2.9


(x+8)< (26.1/2.9)


(x+8)< 9

Subtract
8 from both sides


x< 9-8


x< 1

the solution is the interval --------> (-∞,1)

therefore
