Al you have to do is add 4 to the equation
This gives you g(x)=4x^2+9 which is your answer

Answer:

g(x)=4x^2+9

Explanation:

We will use the fact that if a function f(x) is translated 'a' units up then the equation of the translated function be f(x)+a

The given function is
f(x)=4x^2+5

Given that, the function g(x) is f(x) translated up 4 units.

Hence, we have

g(x)=f(x)+4\\\\g(x)=4x^2+5+4\\\\g(x)=4x^2+9

The equation of g(x) is
g(x)=4x^2+9
