Hello there!
(x - 3)(x + 9) = -27
x² + 6x - 27 = -27
x² + 6x = -27 + 27
x² + 6x = 0
Factorize
x(x + 6) = 0
Now all we have to do is set the factors equal to 0
x = 0 or x+6 = 0
x = 0 or x = -6
Answer : x = 0 or x = -6
I don't know what the options they give you. But if you see 0 or 6 choose it.
I hope this help!
