Circumference = (pi)(d) so, diameter = C/pi. 40,074 km divided by pi = 12,756km

The distance is the circumference which is equal to:
C=πd where C=circumference and d=diameter...
d=C/π
d=40074/π km
d≈12755.95 km
d≈12756 km (to nearest whole kilometer)
