Find the average rate of change of a function that contains the points (-2,3) and (2,5).

A(-2,3) & B(2,5) You know that te 1st figure of each pair represents x & te second represents y

Change of rate formula = (y"-y')/(x"-x')

=(5-3)/[2-(-2)] = 2/4 = 1/2
