you start at -2 and go up one and over 3 to get to the place (3,-1) and so it equals 1/3 so it would be A.

Pick two random but EXACT points on the plot.

I picked (0,-2) and (6,0)

To find the slope, we do :

m = y₂-y₁ / x₂-x₁

Plug in the numbers.

m = 0 + 2 / 6 - 0

Simplify.

m = 2 / 6

Simplify.

m = 1/3

A) 1/3
