hello :
2a3 - 2a2 - 7a + 7 = 2a²(a-1) -7(a-1) = (a-1)(2a²-7)

Rearrange slightly so that:
2a^3-7a-2a^2+7, now factor first and second pair of terms....
a(2a^2-7)-1(2a^2-7)
(a-1)(2a^2-7), these are two factors of the original equation...
