When Melissa has finished, she is disappointed because the clothing looks messy. "Sometimes, less is more," she sighs. Which literary device is the author using?

A paradox is something that contradicts itself. An allegory is a story used to reveal a hidden image. A hyperbole is something that is exaggerated and isn't meant to be taken literally. Irony is something more humorous and is when events contradict what somebody was expecting or believed. Knowing this, what do you think would be better? Try to read again and look for clues. If you look through, you might be able to tell it is giving off a humorous vibe, I would go for irony, but I might be wrong. Hope I am able to help you! :)
