scale:actual=1/4:8=1/4/8=1/32
if scale=2 then
1/32=2/actual
times both sides by 32actual (cross multiply
actual=32 times 2
actual=64 miles

0.25 = 8
2.00 = x
How many 0.25's go into 1.00? 4.
There are two 1.00's.
Multiply 4 by 2, you get 8.
So multiply 8 by 8 to get 64
64 is your total miles.
