Sarah has one bag of ten same-size chips numbered 1-10 and one six-sided die. What is the probability that she will pull an odd number from the bag and roll an odd number on the die?

answer: 25% for both occurring in one try (50% for each event occurring individually)

explanation: # of odd numbered chips = 5 (1,3,5,7,9) so probability of that is 5/10 aka 1/2 or 50%; # of odd sides on the die = 3 (1,3,5) so probability of that is 3/6 aka 1/2 or 50% as well; 1/2 times 1/2 equals 1/4 or 25% and that's your answer
