This type of economic activity by the migrants is called remittance. While the intentions of the migrants are good as they want to support their families back in their native country, it is not a process that is good for the economy of the host country. With millions of people engaging in such activity, the European economies come in a situation where North African migrants take money out of their economy and send that money in another country's economy, thus making it harder and harder to balance things, and this eventually will lead to economic collapse if it is not resolved on time.
