( PLS EXPLAIN ! )

A rectangular prism has a length of 7 cm, a width of 4 cm, and a height of 2 1/2 cm.

The prism is filled with cubes that have edge lengths of 1/2 cm.

How many cubes are needed to fill the rectangular prism?

so
vprism/vcube≤number of cubes

vprism=length times width times height
for this one, 1/2=0.5 and 2 and 1/2=2.5

vprism=7 times 4 times 2.5=70
vcube=side^3=0.5^3=0.15

vprism/vcube=70/0.125=560

560 cubes willl fit
