Four errors to avoid include sentences with the following:
1. Double Negatives: this should be avoided to avoid confusion. Double negatives would result in a positive idea.
2. Dangling Modifiers: this creates confusion in a way that the one that is being modified is not the exact word.
3. A Shift in person and number: this creates confusion because the topic that is being talked about in the sentence changes.
4. A shift in the subject and verb agreement: The tenses become confusing.
