What was a popular technique used by animator Tim burton. With this animation technique, objects/puppets are made by the artist, and each time they are moved the artist photographs them instead of drawing them

This technique is called stop motion, it's a very old animation style that take delicate care and planning, the slightest mistake can leave you to redo a whole scene.

Answer:

Stop motion

Step-by-step explanation:

Stop Motion (which could be translated as "still motion") is a technique that uses the sequential arrangement of different photographs of the same inanimate object to simulate its motion. These photographs are called frames and are usually taken from the same point, with the subject undergoing a slight change of place, after all that gives the idea of movement.

Scientifically speaking, Stop Motion is only understood as movement by the phenomenon of Retinal Persistence. It causes the illusion in the human brain that something moves continuously when there are more than 12 frames per second. In fact, the movement of this cinematic technique is nothing but an optical illusion.
