Equation at the end of step 1 : (8x + 2 • (x - 7)) - (10x - 14) = 0 Step 2 :Pulling out like terms : 2.1 Pull out 10x-14

After pulling out, we are left with :
(10x-14) • ( 1 +( (-1) ))Step 3 :Pulling out like terms : 3.1 Pull out like factors :

10x - 14 = 2 • (5x - 7)
Equation at the end of step 3 : 0 = 0
