How do i complete the square for x^2 + 6x - 5 = 0?

x^2 + 6x - 5 = 0

2 numbers that multiplied give you 5
those 2 numbers have to add up to 6

1 x 5 = 5
1+ 5= 6

(x + 1) (x+ 5)

x= -1, -5

the opposite of the parenthesis
