Someone just robbed a bank. The police set a triangular perimeter of 16 kilometers where the robber may be hiding. Two of the three coordinates for this triangular perimeter are (2,2) and (-2,-1). The area covered is 12 square kilometers. Which of the following is the third coordinate of the triangular perimeter?

The answer is A. Let us assume that A=(2,2), B=(-2,-1) and C=(2,-4). We have to find the length of each side (kindly refer to image uploaded for the formula). Side AB is 5, Side BC is 5, and Side AC is 6. Using the formula of finding the perimeter of the triangle, P=Side AB+Side BC+Side AC, the answer will be 16.
