Ovary is the organ which produces estrogen and progesterone.
The
ovaries
are the major reproductive organ found in
females
which are not only responsible for the development of the ova but also for secretion of the female sex hormones which are estrogen and progesterone.
These hormones are produced by the ovaries in response to the
luteinizing
(LH) and
follicle
stimulating
hormone (FSH)
that is secreted by the pituitary gland.
As the LH and FSH and received by the ovary they release estrogen and progesterone.
