Firstly reduce to the same denominator ==> x²/4 = 8x/4 - 40/4

===> x²= 8x -40===> transpose to the left x² - 8x + 40.
Δ (discriminent) = b²-4ac= 64-4x 1 x 40=- 96===>Δ<0.
There are only complex (or imaginary) roots which are :
x'= 4+2i√6
x"= 4-2i√6
