Does anyone know how to do this and could explain it for me-example-1

Circumference= diameter * pi

Radius given= 6
diameter= 2r=12

Total circumference of the circle is 12 pi

We can see that XPY makes up 3/4 of the circle, therefore one quarter of the total diameter is length XYP.

Therefore length XYP is 12pi*(3/4)= 9pi

Answer is 9pi
